  Alice Mobley
Work Room

Nothing makes Alice happier than to be creating beautiful draperies, luxurious bedding or sumptuous wall upholstery.  From simple sheers to thickly interlined English draperies, attention to detail and fine hand sewing are the hallmarks of Alice’s work.

With multi-generational roots in the Kennebunk area, Alice is delighted to be back in her native Maine.  Her time away included training in England with Merrick and Day and with Lady Caroline Wrey.  She also headed a designer’s workroom in Louisville, KY, where she lived while raising her family.  Alice has done residential work with clients all over the country and has also enjoyed her commercial work with several inns, restaurants and colleges.

Alice brings a high standard of quality and a quest for perfection to her workroom by the sea.

Deborah Bauman
Bauman Design Associates
Collaborating Designer

Deborah spent her childhood summers in Kennebunkport and in 2005 made the family summer home her full time residence. She was raised in Washington, DC and graduated from Auburn University with a BA in Interior Design from the School of Architecture.

When she moved to Philadelphia in 1987, she started Bauman Design Associates, designing renovations and additions to the old homes in the area.

She enjoys the challenge of working with an existing home and helping the owners make changes that preserve its character and work for the way we live today. She can take a project from preliminary space planning through construction drawings and oversee the final construction project.

Deborah's move to Maine is fulfilling a lifelong dream to live and work in this beautiful place.
